The Heart center is found at the bottom right corner of the G-Center connecting to the G-Center, Solar Plexus, Throat and Spleen. It represents our magnetic impulse to evolve and exchange with the external world. We are vessels of evolution, creating worlds unknown. We are connected to larger networks of intelligence that seek transformation and connection with the living world. And our Authority is where Heaven meets Earth in this way.

In Human Design, the Heart is commonly referred to as a "Motor" center. But what does that mean for the Heart mechanically? The bodygraph holds 4 motors. This center is the pulse of the Tribal circuits and connects us into the fractal networks and community where we co-create and exchange with one another.

It is a motor - what do motors centers do? Move energy.

It is tribal, where the material world meets its spiritual exchange - what do spirits have to exchange with the material world? Creation. 

It is reciprocal - what is the difference between reciprocity and support? Orientation to exchange.

The heart is where our connection to the etheric body can be strengthened and sustained by the physical form. Our etheric body is the energetic subtle layer that helps build and maintain our physical constitution. 

When we speak about the centers, we are referring to the etheric body. When we strengthen the relationship between the physical and etheric, we introduce energetic flow and vitality back to the body.

Through working with the energetics of the heart, we reconnect to our soul,  our purpose and the love of creation.

The Pulse of Transformation

Our Aries Heavenly Bodies activates the Heart, where we observe the courageous and innocent impulse to be reborn into the world. The energy received via Heart center is magnetizing us towards evolving/involving matter and spirit into form. This place is the center of our humanity. And holds the key to evolution on all fronts. Confronting the matters of ego is the first step towards actualizing regenerative and holistic communities and following our personal evolution.

The keyword we use for the Heart is "Reciprocity”. The old keynote of Exchange infers a need to get first, impending that you also give. Reciprocity infers that no matter if we give or take, that action is being balanced automatically without thought. This keynote helps transcend the ego’s need to give or take first and opens a new language for how we can feel equitable reciprocity in every way that we exchange our energy with the living world.

The Sacred Prostitute Lives in the Heart

The Sacred Prostitute lives inside each and everyone of us. This is the architecture of exchange. The beating impulse to give and receive with the living world. This part of us stands guard to interact with the material world. It is invested in its tribe. Willing to give in service to what matters most to us. Because the Heart is tied to Karma, our magnetic impulses can become entangled with experiences and stories that no longer serve our highest calling. We begin giving and taking from a place of entangled karmic looping that keeps presenting us with similar lessons of the Heart in order to evolve and transmute into Higher Service.

Our Sacred Prostitute guides us towards ultimate service to the material world we exist inside of. Showing us that our external world is a mirror reflection of the magnetic clarity found within our own hearts.

This shows up as over commitment, commitment issues, unmet promises, ego over-identification, greed, jealousy, control issues, anger management, placing personal gain above integrity, self-worth and self-esteem issues. Among many others.

The Sacred Prostitute asks us how do we exchange with the world without compromising our spirit?

My answer? Recognition.

Because the Heart is at the center of material exchange, our gifts must be recognized fully to be received. Lack of recognition can help signal where we are not in alignment with our Inner Authority. The Sacred Prostitute shows us where we inequitably exchange, give or take, in a way that compromises our spirit and Inner Authority.

Karma

Because the heart is where the material and spiritual realms converge, this is also where karma is created and entangled. A living record of cause and effect that weaves webs of fate and history. History repeats itself in Karmic Loops. The loops will continue replaying different circumstances, people and environments in pulse towards transformation and evolution. What does not transform becomes recycled material for our Karmic Loops.

This is how we learn.

In a mundane sense, we will continue looping programs until we learn our heart lessons between the lower expression of will (unembodied Inner Authority) and the guidance of Divine Will.

Magnetism, Mars & The Energy to Evolve

Built by the Aries Heavenly Body, we see that the planet of Mars, iron and magnetism is connected to the health of our Heart center. Our heart emits the strongest electromagnetic field measured by science in the human body. Our blood is reliant upon the unwavering beat of the heart to strengthen, nourish and sustain us. The energy and pulse from the heart maintains this cycle, this unwavering delivery system of information and nutrition. Iron is literally essential at the physiological level in delivering oxygen to our bodies, and its connection to Mars is not surprising as we continue to observe the layers of interconnected information.

Ra keynoted the planetary influence of Mars as “Immaturity”. A planet of volition, bravery and potential aggression. However, much of Aries season reveals the innocent and courageous nature of Mars and thus, our evolutionary rebirth. An energy of vitality that can quickly surge forward, not in malice but in innocence and service towards its becoming. A newborn’s cry into the world announcing its arrival.

The Heart’s Development & Authority

The energetic field of the heart is consolidated from ages 21-28, pre-saturn return. This is a time of courage, becoming and transformation. Highlighting our social urges towards companionship and greater service to family and our lives overall. The Heart is the bridge between the lower and higher realms of existence, it is an important endeavor to develop the Heart’s connection to tribe and service in order to ground our experience of Heaven on Earth. This is also a time of Karmic disentanglement from our family of origin. Inner Authority begins to develop during this transition and will further require lessons and understanding of Karma playing out and looping in our lives to fully ground the future we desire.
