Access the Throat Center Workbook
The Throat center is found just below the head shape of the bodygraph. The two centers, ajna and head are stacked above it. The Throat center is connected to most of the centers in the bodygraph, excluding the pressure centers. It is referred to as a center of “Manifestation”. All energy that has entered the body is ultimately making its way towards the Throat center for expression.
What does this mean energetically for the Throat center?
It is connected to 3 motors, 1 magnetic monopole and 3 awareness centers. This center is ultimately where the combined efforts and transmutation from the other centers its passed through becomes impacted into the world around us. Our words and our deeds are expressed and manipulated into reality.
The keynote that we use in Doorways to the Divine for the Throat centers is PRESENCE.
The Throat is constructing this very moment. We manifest the quality of the now from how DEEPLY PRESENT we are with our bodies. In this lesson we will explore the energetics of the Throat center and its relationship/correspondence to the Sacral center which balances and provides regenerative energetic resources for our lives to manifest.
Reality Creation
The background frequency of the collective is shifting. We can all feel it. What was being built and created by means of societal structure and continuity, is quickly disintegrating into a more creative intensity led by the Solar Plexus’ transfiguration prophesied in 2027. That frequency is here like the light of its early dawn. And will be constructed via our Throat centers ability to enact it into our worlds.
“All roads lead to Rome.” A quote by Ra Uru Hu from The Definitive Book of Human Design in referencing the Throat center. All energy is ultimately moving towards the Throat for its expression. It’s important to note that we are not just looking at words as means of expression, but the enactment of deeds. The throat is not only connected to our voices but also our works in the world. The way we build from the internalized pressure to exchange energy with our environment. What goes in must come out.
As energetic beings with two pressure centers, we are a constant steady flow of energy transformations in the flesh. In the Lesson “Emergent Strategy” we look at the subtle layers of our form that configure these many energetic exchanges of our existence. The Throat center enacts our expressions into the world with it’s IMPACT.
With a powerful movement of energy into the world this creates a positive energetic charge from the auric field. You might even say… REPELLENT. I prefer the word RESISTANT. Words and deeds that are not backed by a proper response or energetic fullness, fall flat. We’ve all felt that. When words lack the energy to do what they intend.
This happens when the Throat center is not expressing from an embodied response from the Sacral center.
The Throat center and the Sacral center are corresponding energetic forces in the body. This means that these two are a working unit with each other. What we create and impact into our realities via the Throat is ultimately constructed from the energetic motor of the Sacral center. And when the Sacral is depleted or exhausted, we lack vitality behind the Manifestation of our reality via the Throat.
The Physiology
The Throat center is physiologically correlated to our throat, neck, voice, thyroid and some traditions include the ears and ability to listen which is supported by Bridge 43’s “Inner Ear”. Because the Throat center is connected to the Throat, expression, enactment and impact, there is a heavy emphasis on energetic metabolism. We can see this correlation with the Thyroid hormone system as well.
The Throat center is energetically different from all the other centers of the body. Not an awareness center with its processing power, or a motor that can move energy, the Throat stands alone in its alchemical ability to create worlds. It is ultimately from the Throat that we can see all other processes that came forth through the synthesis of who and what we are. And when there is not a full regenerative response to its enactment, the Throat can over exhaust and deplete its resources from within.
The Destroyer
There is a hyper accentuation of material abundance in our society. With fast food on every corner and Amazon delivering overnight, we seemingly have ENOUGH but our foods are void of nutrients. Our art is empty of heart. Our relationships skim the surface. There is a lack of presence and depth in our lives. The natural living systems around us reflect the regenerative capacity of the Earth to support life abundantly but we’ve inserted our own ideas of abundance upon what was already performing as designed. And we feel that in our bodies. They are mirrors of the absence in nutritive density that constitutes our mattered forms. This is another lesson in polarity that highlights that all subtleties seen and unseen are affected by these incongruencies with our nature.
As creative beings we either regenerate or degenerate the constructs around us. Regeneration continues life force that is vital and sustainable. The degenerative properties of the Throat destroy systems that require adaptation and evolution in order to continue. This is the magic of manifestation working around us and through our being. The deeper we are connected to the ecosystems within our bodies, our emergent IMPACT into the world reflects this regenerative quality. We find that the words and deeds in our life are reflective of the presence found within ourselves.
The Inner Child
The energetic development of the Throat center is estimated somewhere between ages 7-12, when the child is individuated as separate from caretakers and still connected to their youthful imagination and creation. As children we were present and deeply connected to our bodies and the world around us. The conditioning field of external parameters and rules had yet to deter the naturally creative life force. Children create and play and enjoy life unencumbered by external ideas of “correctness”. Children say exactly what they think, they do only what they want to, they have ideas about life without context as to why they even should. The Inner Child is an excellent ally for reconnecting to the Throat center and it’s manifesting powers. The magic that we once connected with, still stirs within.
Energetic development can be halted in these areas of the bodies in a myriad of ways. Spend some time contemplating the questions below to reconnect to the energy of the Throat center.
What did you enjoy spending your time doing as a child?
Were you ever shamed for the ideas, creations or words that you shared? Was your honesty too much?
If you connected to that Inner Child space still inside you, how do they still want to play? What do they want to create?
How can you connect with this energy and see they spaces in your current life that hold remnants of this Inner Child joy?
How can you manifest more space in your life for the Inner Child to play?
