OUR HEARTS HAVE TEETH

The pulse, the center, the Hearth. Where Heaven meets Earth. Where the Heart sinks its teeth into the profanity of our exquistitely human lives. Where the beating, thrashing hunger to exchange begins. This is why we’re here. Oh god, this is it.

This is where we enter the temple of our Humanity.

And somehow most of us, are denying our hunger, bypassing our humanity, and intellectualizing our very existence. Asking why and in the same breath, living the WHY. Relationship, community, tangible interactive experience of the soul and spirit in form. THIS IS WHY. This is why we’re here. Living, breathing, loving, forgetting, remembering, being, and loving some more.

But...the heart.

The unending hungry pulse to live. Without this ineffable magnetic force facing the void of non-existence, the polarity would not press against what has become to imagine what could be. Therefore a pulse, is just that. The meeting place of the known and unknown. Between each beat, a moment of liminal void that questions whether the pulse continues. This is transformation, transmutation. In which one could infer that evolution is also the verypurpose of existence.

There is no such thing as consistency that maintains homogeneity. There is only the consistent beat of our hearts, pulsing us into new vitality within and without. Every year and every time Aries invites us in, we must offer our death, our detachment, our faith. Because our Heart Has Teeth.

But the heart is not an awareness, in the traditional sense. It is autonomic impulse that responds to its feedings. The heart has teeth, it’s hungry. And the substance of which we feed our hearts, is that which we nourish into life.

Literally constructing our magnetic impact with the world. Signaling to the liminal void space between the beats, writing history, entangling karma, enacting dharma, and interlacing destinies that sustain and feed each other.

Good Faith is preceded by manifest destiny. It requires a deep rooted belief that what is being offered and given will feed our dharmic entanglements and intra-actions of life which nourishes something greater than we can begin to comprehend. Our offerings are never discarded. Never abandoned. The sacrificial lamb is offered in spite of our hungry hearts that scream for more. At a time that life is just yet beginning.

It’s one thing to offer our death and decay but entirely another to offer MORE life to

the dream that yearns to see sunshine. And yes, the heart has teeth. But the heart is also the bread your neighbor offers off his table and the tiny hands inside your own and is the art hanging on your wall made just for you. The heart is a love letter in your desk and a family photo in a frame.

As you receive this lesson on the Heart center, allow these perspectives, contemplations and energetic lessons to work on you. Begin to imagine the Heart as a sacred space where we begin to understand our Inner Authority, the Sacred Prostitute. That this part of our being is where Heaven meets Earth. Where we exchange our Divinity with the living world around us. This is the Temple of Humanity.

Contemplations:

What are some commons ways you exchange your time, energy and money day to day?

What questions do you have thinking about the Heart center? What feels restrictive or obstructive when considering the Heart’s relationship in your life?
